Hey friends,

It’s Friday, which means so much happens during the week that we surely didn’t talk about it all. Here are the best threads, stories, podcasts, and videos over the past seven days that I’ve seen. Additionally, you’ll get to the Sprint Qualifier section at the bottom that has a mix of headlines and stories from all over the world of sports and business.

And as always, feel free to tweet with me and send me your best.

Pole Position

Loved this episode of Beyond the Grid with former F1 driver, Jean-Eric Vergne. JEV get’s as real as it gets in this one and talks about what he would have done differently with his shot in the series.

There are so many great takeaways for not only sport but business and life alike.

Shoey!

Remember the Shoey Guy at the USGP this weekend? At least on the US broadcast on ABC, they showed him. I got to chat with him (thanks Twitter!) and here’s what I found out:

Renewal for COTA?

Fingers crossed, it looks like COTA is moving in the right direction for renewal.

Branded Content Done Right

Heck of a great piece of branded content here between UBS and Mercedes AMG F1. Lewis Hamilton goes undercover to surprise aspiring engineering students with a tour of the Brackley factory.

F1 in Miami

Miami GP pre-sale tickets were flying this week, despite the uproar in prices. On one hand, it’s to be expected — it’s a new race in a new area with a lot of upfront costs to make it happen. The crew at Miami GP are trying, it seems, to turn this into Monaco West, and knowing Miami, I suspect that’s exactly what it will be.

Found this beautiful piece of art on Reddit from u/tl_designn

This is legit hang on your wall, framed, the whole bit type piece. So amazing.
