London rumors floating again

The $125,000 RB18 simulator for your house

Good day friends,

Round Two of the F1 season brings us to the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Ferrari will take a grid penalty, other teams are apologizing to their fans online, and new contenders are already having issues.

Meanwhile, Red Bull seems as strong as ever. This could be a long weekend for anyone not from Milton Keynes.

One thing I ask is that if you find this newsletter or my Twitter interesting, would you share it with someone you think would also enjoy it? Thank you 🙏

New Floating Experiences for Abu Dhabi

Formula 1 and its Global Partner, MSC Cruises, have today unveiled new fan hospitality packages offering race weekend experiences at this year's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase hospitality packages aboard the cruise ship MSC Virtuosa, ranging from cabin only to the full F1 Experience, which will give fans insider access, track activities and more.

The cruise also promises a specially designed program of F1-themed activities.

Red Bull RB18 Show Car Racing Simulator

Red Bull and F1 Authentics have partnered up to offer simulators based on the Championship-winning RB18.

They aren’t cheap.

The lower-end Race Edition will still run you over $90,000 USD.

I would fully expect CEO’s, sponsors, and princes to grab these for clients, friends and just having something to show off in the palace.

London Grand Prix rumblings, again

New year, same rumors.

The LDN Collective and Dar have unveiled a new vision for the Royal Docks to transform the area into a waterfront sports and entertainment destination with hopes to host a potential London Grand Prix.

The concept extends the width of the existing 10m embankment by 20m for a length of 2.7km along the Royal Victoria and Royal Albert Dock embankment from ExCeL to the University of East London, creating 48,140 sqm of prime waterfront land.

The water’s edge would be activated by a series of floating modules, combining to provide further community space along the embankment edge and 70,790 sqm (GFA) for a wide variety of functions, from boutique hotels and restaurants to libraries and pocket parks.

Oscars meets F1

Not really, but there’s still a connection!

For those that don’t know, Michelle Yeoh has been engaged to Jean Todt since 2005 after meeting in Shanghai in 2004 at a Ferrari event in which Michelle was helping promote.

Michelle became the first Asian performer to take home best actress accolades for her starring role in Everything Everyhwere All at Once.
